Victoria Miller Gathman has been practicing Aerial Arts, for over 16 years, performing professionally and teaching since 2013. Her love for aerial arts began as a senior in high school and she's never looked back since. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, with an emphasis in both performance and technical theatre. She currently works full-time at "Drawn to Life," by Cirque du Soleil, as a Show Rigger and was previously a Show Rigger for "la Nouba," by Cirque Du Soleil. She has several rigging certifications, including: Competent Persons by Gravitech, OSHA10 for Construction and General Industry, & Controlled Descent and Rescue by Altius. In 2018, she won first place in Profession Hammock and second place overall in the Professional division, at the Capitol of Texas Aerial Championships. Victoria enjoys teaching silk, hammock, lyra and aerial partnering. She is inspired and driven by her students and aerial family, to always learn new skills and techniques. She believes, "Life is a balance of holding on and letting go."
